Pretty much a nothing happened day other than our 2 hour layover in Bakersfield to get the car's oil changed (Great dealer - Three Way Chevrolet. Free oil change and wash!) I wasn't planning on changing the oil until we got home but as hot as the weather has been, I decided it wouldn't hurt to do it sooner than later. Oh yea, it was 92 when we left Needles this morning (8 am!) and pretty much high 90s to low 100's all day. Anyway, all's good and we're spending the last night in Coalinga

Made it from Coalinga to home today (left about 9 am and got home around 10 pm). I'll post more tomorrow but glad to be home! And now that we're home.. Dick - the car performed flawlessly the entire trip. Over 6000 enjoyable miles (well, except for the road work between Roseburg and Eugene. What a fricken mess)!
